HOw to redeem the free 100 giga storage when reaching level local guide

Greetings all, 

i have a problem regarding the process of redeeming the free storage google offers when you reach level four. The email was sent to me to congratulate me for reaching that level and below in the same email it shows the link that says click here to redeem. But when I click on it it takes me to the google maps app and does nothing. 

I check the internet to see if someone went through something similar, abd i saw that a lot of people are talking about having a code and they are plugging it in somewhere which i have no clue about. 

Could you guys help me out because google gives tou 30 days to activate the offer and I received it on dec 22 and dont want to lose it.

I achieved level 4 on Sep 5 but the message did not say anything about additional storage. Perhaps it is false advertising.

Chances are someone else has had the same issue or suggestion.

It makes it easier on everyone if we unify conversations and avoid duplicates. 

How ever .... 

For redeem free drive u have to go Local Guides Home Page 

Here Level 4 Details u see Redeem Button .

Redeem

Click on it then set your email address ... then u will get your drive ..

so try this way ...

I am not AbdullahA but I did try searching just now and I did not find any previous question asking about a link in the relevant email message not working.
