Google Maps photos

I don't know if questions like these are supposed to be asked here on Local Guide Connect because I'm a Local Guide or on Google Maps & Earth Help Forum (located at https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/maps).

But my question is about uploaded pictures for places you have pictures of. When I went to do that today, I can not see them for the location which I did have a review for. I had clicked on the "write review" tab then the box opened up for a chance to write a review plus add photos but then I noticed that point system only went up by 1 not 2 (like it supposed to for me at least since adding photos for a review you have already done is a point). I refreshed the page and my review was there but no photos were showing as attached. So I decided to add a photo through the "photo" tab and that is not showing up either. May I ask how I may upload photos to have them showing (and possibly get the point associated with this)?

Hi @CharlotteI all you did it is supposed to work as you meant.

Other users are reporting some issues on reviews, and many others are losing points (me included): https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/How-do-I/all-my-my-reviews-have-dissapeared/m-p/215314#U215314

I think there is some DB job and that something is not working properly.

Actually points for adding pictures and reviews are not showing up in real time, but require some time.

If in 1-2 days the things won't change, we will try to escalate the issue to a Google Moderator.

@LucioV I see that the photos has finally appeared in Google Maps and the point associated with that transaction as well. But thanks for informing me that there are glitches out here.
