What's the work of this following function and how it is work?

Here i tried to understand but i didn't found my solution i want to check what's the main work of this following function and how i activate it

Now you can follow your favourite local guides on the Maps and see their new contributions immediately.

This feature is being rolled out in select cities and Delhi is one of that. Wait and watch for further updates in the app to activate that.

As very well said by our companion @C_T  this is a new feature first available only in some cities.

Assuming Android users only @C_T ?

There isn't any clarity yet on that aspect @CatC.

I recollect another similar feature to follow businesses was rolled out on Android first. It may happen in the same way for this new feature too.

As I said, let's wait and watch.
