What is the Regional Leads board for?

I just notice the Regional Leads board under Exclusive Access.

What is this for?

Are we having Regional Leads role in LG or LGC?

I remember reading a Google mod post that the RL Badge awarding to LGC member that is also RL in Mapmaker is undergoing testing, but not live yet.

This thread discussed the status about awarding of RL Badges.

I guess as the Badge awarding process is not started, then the associated exclusive access might not be activated as well.
