It is a Lenten tradition of Roman Catholics in the Philippines to visit 7 Churches every holy week. Popularly known as Visita Iglesia
Some have superstition beliefs that completing the Visita Iglesia with at least 7 churches would grant their wishes. Devotees also pray 2 stations for each of the 7 churches or one station for each of the 14 churches for the 14 Stations of the Cross.
In Cebu, there are many churches where you can complete your Visita Iglesia if you have the time to explore the province.
