Status Symbol on Reviews

I left a review and noticed I no longer have the symbol next to my name or any indication that I am a moderator. Did something change? I checked the news and didn't see anything. I tried perusing posts but hit a wall after so many pages of the same old topic 🙂

So I think perhaps it's because I'm not considered a local in that area, even though it's where I grew up.

I left a review for a place in Huntsville Al. I am in Fairbanks AK. The symbol next to my review didn't show I was a Google guide like it normally does.
