Hello awesome blossom Google Local Guides this is the RECAP post of Guptipara No. 1 Gram Panchayat Accessibility Meetup. The #Accessibility meetup was held on on 20th September, 2021 from 10.00 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. (IST) at Guptipara No. 1 Gram Panchayat office building. This meetup was a part of #AccessibleBengal, an initiative to update the Accessibility status on maps by West Bengal Local Guides (WBLG).

During the meetup,Guptipara No. 1 Gram Panchayat office building was visited and following things were checked....
⦁ Check the accessibility for wheelchair users.
⦁ Check the availability of seating arrangement for special needy person.
⦁ Check the availability of the accessible toilet.
⦁ Check the availability of ramps.
First of all I would like to discuss some basic information before going through the details.
Guptipara No. 1 Gram Panchayat is one of the busiest administrative offices at Guptipara and every day almost thousand people visit the place for official purpose and so many people among them are physically challenged. During the meetup we found two(2) Guptipara No. 1 Gram Panchayat offices existed on Google Maps

And one of them existed in the wrong place on Google Maps and we suggested an edit to rectify the Guptipara No. 1 Gram Panchayat office in the correct place on Google Maps and this was successfully edited, so we would like to thank to Google Maps team.
The photography was strictly prohibited inside the Panchayat office so we were not allowed to take photos, but we were granted to take a few photos by requesting the official.
Now I would like to discuss the matters in details, we marked the wheelchair icon " ♿" marking "✔️" for PASSED and "✖️" for FAILED .....
