Hi @sweetsvirgo very brilliant of you starting a community. You can as well make a post in the Meet-up board, Simply giving it a descriptive title like. Durham Local Guides Community on Google Plus+ e.t.c. and share the link if your community in your post as well, so that it would be easy for people from Durham to join as well. An advantage is that when new Local Guides come to this community, if there are from your community, they would search using the keyword. I hope this helps you to understand what I mean 🙂
