The National Museum of Qatar, it is well known as “Desert Rose” located across from the Corniche in the Qatari capital Doha , opened to the public 28 March 2019. The building, which is being constructed in place of the original Qatar Nation Museum was designed by world Famous architect Jean Nouvel.
Entry is free for all of Valid Qatari ID holders & 50 QR charged for Visitors also 25 Qr for Students. very attractive inside full wall decorated by Live wall , displaying various Qatari Tradition activities by projectors.in a world awesome designed very extraordinary out looking and inside live walls. Alos very rare collection of some ancient monuments.its out side looks like "Desert Rose" so it is well known worldwide as a “Desert Rose”
The 430,000 square feet (40,000 m2) museum is created by a series of interlocking discs that create cavities to protect visitors from the desert heart Located on a 1.5 million ft² site at the south end of Doha's Corniche, in Future they have plan to connect the NMOQ building from the sea and will be connected to shore by two pedestrian bridges and a vehicular bridge.
