Moderators vs Guides

Who are the moderators in local guides connect ? Can we become one or are they being recruited by google to support the discussions and questions ?

Interested in becoming a moderator for Local Guides Connect? Here’s what we’re looking for:
Level 5 Local Guides who actively contribute to Google Maps and Local Guides Connect
Friendly and respectful community members who help keep Connect a warm and welcoming place
There is no application or nomination process. Keep contributing and engaging with your fellow Local Guides and the Local Guides team will be in touch if you are selected.

Basically you help moderate the Local Guides Connect forum.

Level 5 Local Guides who regularly contribute to both Google Maps will be considered based on their high levels of activity within Local Guides Connect.

There is no application or nomination process, simply keep contributing and engaging with your fellow Local Guides around the world and the Local Guides team will be in touch if you are selected 🙂
