I have never been in Philippines but it looks very nice place and what can I say about food, seem absolutely delicious!

Indeed there are a lot of cafes and restos in Maginhawa Street.
You may also want to try the vegan/vegetarian restos in Maglingap Street which is just a walking distance from Maginhawa.
Visit MalingapCentral,Indulge and Little India.
