Hi - I am trying to get up to speed with the new transition. I am currently a Trusted Photographer, joined the Local Guides but have been denied access to the new Street View Trusted Board.
I'm glad to see you have joined Local Guides Connect 🙂 As trusted pros, you'll have access to the trusted board once you open the Street View app and login with the same email you participate in the trusted program. Once there, opt-in the "Available for hire" switch, in Settings. This way, the trusted badge will also appear in your profile.
I'm in the same situation. I'm hoping that it just takes some time for access to be granted.
As soon as I joined Local Guides with this account, I immediately received a series of emails awarding badges for multiple levels -- apparently based on POIs submitted. However, the Trusted Photographer badge is not yet active. I suspect that it requires a manual review. My hope is that access to the Trusted forum will be forthcoming along with that badge.
Hi @udarphoto and @TGingras do I understand that you have both been accepted into SVTP and received the email that told you about it. You have since joined Connect with the same email address that was approved for SVTP but you do not have the SVTP badge and you do not have access to the SVTP exclusive access board? Have you joined in the last 48 hours? It takes a while for the systems to sync together. I notice you both have points and level badges so the sync with Maps has happened.
If either of your situation is different I'll handle them separately but for now if this describes both of you then I will alert the Googler who specialises in SVTP here on Connect to look into it.
You understand correctly that I am a Street View Trusted Photographer (and have been since the early days of the program) and that I recently joined Local Guides with the email address that I use for SVTP. The TP badge is not yet active and I do not have access to the Trusted Photographer board. I don't recall getting an email about Local Guides and the forum, but maybe I just forgot. I'm attempting to follow instructions posted in the Trusted Photographers forum, which is being shut down. As I understand it, all support and discussion is being moved to the Local Guides platform.
Thanks for responding @udarphoto I've escalated this to the Googlers. The Googler who seems to handle most SVTP queries is in the US. It is Saturday night in the US at the moment so there is unlikely to be a response for a day or two so please be patient.

Dear Johanad, i have problems login in. I am a trusted photographer, already got an email that tells me I will get the trusted badge and I am listed at Google. Everything seems to be ok but I can't login.
