I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Amina, and I'm a local guide level 8 in the washington DC area. I enjoy being a part of local guides and sharing my reviews and reading the reviews of other local guides as well, it gives me a sense of purpose which is nice . I'm out and about a lot and have been traveling a lot recently. I recently went through a really really bad break up, so doing these reviews and traveling helps keeps my mind off of the sadness. I'm also a local dance instructor so I own several meetup groups and am constantly meeting new people. I love teaching and helping others and love to make new friends. My students often ask me for recommendations of fun things to do in the area. I also used to work on a cruise ship as a dance instructor and performer which was a lot of fun because I got to visit a lot of countries through that.
I'm about to make my application video for the Google Local Guides summit in California but I'm nervous because there is so much competition! Should it just be talking or can I edit in clips of my dancing etc?
