Re: If you are an All Masters ...

Thank you very much, @NareshDarji!

I am not there yet.

Those new Badges in Maps definitely make me work harder.

Re: If you are an All Masters ...

I'm not there yet either, @YK1001. I have three Masters and one Expert (Reviewing). You are right however: this makes me work differently and focus on a field I have been (relatively) neglected. 🙂

Nice challenge, Google!

Re: If you are an All Masters ...

@YK1001,

Let me see if I can break down your calculation.

For Master Reviewer:

  • 100 places need to be reviewed. That's 100 x 6 = 600.
  • 50 reviews need over 200 characters. Should we count the bonus points? That's (50 x 5 = 250).

For Master Photographer:

  • 1000 photos are to be added. That's 1000 x 5 = 5,000.

For Master Fact Finder:

  • 100 edits need to be approved. That's 100 x 5 = 500.
  • 100 facts need to be checked. That's 100 x 1 = 100.
  • 1000 answers need to be given. That's 1000 x 1 = 1,000.

For Master Trailblazer:

  • 50 places need to be added. That's 50 x 15 = 750.

In total, the minimum score to get all the badges to Master Level is 7,950 points, or 8,200 points if we include the bonus points if they're implemented yet.

Does that seem about right?

EDIT: We both got the same result. Nice, we're on track.

Re: If you are an All Masters ...

Yes, my friend, I'm an ALL MASTER, but still LVL9, and i know that @Anonymous, i.e., is LVL 10, but has not received all the Master badges.

I think that former mappers have some advantages in LVL reach, but users like me, that are more likely to contribute on each part of the program, are granted more badges.

Re: If you are an All Masters ...

Well, I am over 98,000 points now but not a master of all 4 fields yet! 🙂

But the maths seems to be correct, indeed!

Re: If you are an All Masters ...

Hi @Briggs,

I have put the long review points in to get 8200.

I agree the badges make us to be more balanced while contributing to Maps, @Csaba.

I wish they will keep adding levels to each Badge.

What is a good name after Master?

@LucioV, if you are going to design a new Badge, what criterias will you use?

@YK1001

New Badges system is very smart and clear !

Now LG's have a wide visibility on sides they've to improve with exact number of contributions they've to provide to reach each task !

This new feature can make Lg's frustrated at the beginning as its show our activity with more details.

I mean many contributors will discover they haven't Master Badges even if they have tons of contributions 😂

☀Nice day SampsonF☀

Re: If you are an All Masters ...

I consider the first review is hard to get.

And Helpful reviews are extremely hard.

How do you think, @BoyScout?
