How to change directions to use a different street in navigation
Google maps navigates everyone through an old farm road instead of using the main highway to get to certain addresses and businesses. Can this be edited?

Hi @MaddHaddder indirectly, yes you can alter the routing on Maps. Within the App go to the area you need to update, then from the side menu select "Send Feedback" and "Edit the Map" in the next menu. Select the relevant road segment by tapping on it and selecting Next. On the next screen use the "Add Note" to describe the change that needs to be made.
Note that this routing could be deliberate through the routing set in Maps or it could be learned because a lot of people go that way and it is quicker than the highway. Some of this sort of data carries over from WAZE and Maps usage.
