Help - Active ATM in India

Hi all...,

The demonetisation of Indian Rupees 500 and 1000 banknotes was a step taken by the Government of India on 8 November 2016, ceasing the usage of all Indian Rupees 500 and 1000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series as a form of legal tender in India from 9 November 2016.

The announcement was made by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in an unscheduled live televised address to the nation at 20:15 IST the same day.In the announcement, Modi declared circulation of all Indian Rupes 500 and 1000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series as invalid and announced the issuance of new Indian Rupes 500 and 2000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi New Series in exchange for the old banknotes.

Because of above decision, more ATM in country becoming empty after it filled by banker. I having one idea on Creating Map to find active ATM in nearest place. Can any body execute this idea....

Sugerencia @GaneshKrishnaS,  busca las principales entidades bancarias de tu país, o cuál es la red principal de cajeros automáticos ATM, y mira en sus páginas web, ellos tiene los listados de las direcciones de los cajeros, luego agrégalos en la medida que falten en Google Maps, y consigue muchos puntos para tu perfil de Local Guides. 👍🍀

But it is Matter of financial crisis in India....

People b should easily come to know Active ATM in their area....

Lo siento mucho 😢 tienes razón @GaneshKrishnaS, es muy grabe lo que indicas, nosotros en Argentina lo vivimos en 2001 con el corralito financiero.

Sugeriria poner en todas las Comunidades Local Guides de la India, un llamado a que colaboren los colegas Local Guides agregando los ATM en Google Maps que faltan.

I think it is a good Idea. I personally tried mapping many ATMs nearby. But it needs awareness to all Indian Google Map users to contribute and make the map more informative.

Hola @KULDIPS, sugerencia, y este puede ser tu aporte para Local Guides Stories, agrégate en las distintas Comunidades LG de la India y coloca un Post instando a otros colegas LG, que colaboren en esta iniciativa Agreguemos los ATM, veras que en poco tiempo pueden tener mapeado todo en Google Map.🍀

Many ATMs are not listed in Maps. I made more ATM live on maps.
