If you do a search you will find a lot of old post about this issue. Don't spend time reading all, just go to the end of every topic and you will see that, oh a few hours / days all the points are back.
So enjoy mapping and wait a bit. It is not a real problem.

@BishowvijayaPcertainly! This looks like an algorithm that failed or something on the system that may have generated a bug. For the silence of the moderators must be working on it.
