I usually tend to make empathy while deciding on anything. What do users expect, while using the map as a guide? What is the main thing that might affect their choices and make them comfortable with this guide? And I think the main thing is simple - relevant detailed information.
We are living in the tech age, where the time is a valuable and limited resource. It is just more felt nowadays than used to before. So it makes the relevant detailed information more important for the guide. Inaccurate guidance leads to waste of time and spoiled experiences. So this is what I enjoy to do as a local guide - detail and check the information on the map. It is like acting as a support for the local guides and making the contributions better. This way I feel part of the local guide team making our map better.
