Blocked places and edits

Hello guys,

I have this issue, some places in my city, are public places, parks, bridges and monuments. They seem to be added to Maps, however, you can not add pictures, reviews, ratings or suggest edits. On the other hand, if you try to add it as a missing place to be able to add more info, Google Maps keeps rejecting the request.

This has happened more than once...

What can IYou see, it can't be edit.The place is a parkTried to add it twice and counting. do?

Hello @hectorsantillan04,

You only can add photos to the POI's you have mention. 

Open play store, 

Search for Google Map, 

Uninstall updates. 

Now search for the place and add photos.

I followed your steps, however, it did not work.

Each day I find lots of places that can not be edited, thus we can't contribute...

I hope Google Maps developers fix this. BTW I'm using Google Maps version 9.63.1 in my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I tried with other devices and it was the same.
