As a local, I was once in doubt that "is there any public place for people to work, read books, eat, shop and enjoy the art at the same time?"
Until Sep'2017, I had found the place that had everything I mentioned. This place is called "OPEN HOUSE" regarded as a fit-for-all space curated to serve everybody’s tastes. The OPEN HOUSE was designed by Tokyo-based Klein Dytham Architecture, the same team who designed YouTube and Google’s Tokyo headquarters. This place was awarded the Most Beautiful Bookstore of 2017 at the Asian Bookstore Forum held in Chengdu, China.
The best thing of this place is FREE to access for everyone ! - except bars & restaurants along with co-working area & meeting rooms with hi-speed WIFI.
It is located at 6th floor of Central Embassy, luxurious shopping mall near Ploenchit BTS station. Right next to the co-living space, there is a VIP cinema and a lot more restaurants & shops to explore.
Opening Hours
Monday - Saturday : 10AM–10PM
Sunday : 24 hours
Below photos were taken by my smartphone and this is what a "co-living space" looks like.
I hope this place will be another good choice for people to start your working day, host meet-ups, drink coffee, read books or whatever. For me, it's really fascinating and totally worth to go up there and enjoy the skyscraper view of Bangkok. 😄

Wow! This place looks amazing, @SunPanupong! And the bookstore is impressive. This is quite a big amount of books there. I already imagine myself how I chose a book from some higher shelf and how I seat in one of the cozy couches in front of the majestic view of the skyscrapers. 🙂

@JavieraAu This place is nice and kind like a hidden gem, not so many people know it exists in the shopping mall. You can spend a day there enjoy reading books, having meals and taking some good shots 🙂

That sounds amazing, @SunPanupong! I even prefer not so crowded places. If I was living in Bangkok I'm sure that I would spend a lot of time there. 🙂
