London has a population of well over 8 million, including a royal family with a recent American addition, making it the most populated city in the European Union. Winding through the city, the River Thames has seen thousands of years of drama, and back on land, history lurks around every corner.

What’s less obvious is where to go to get a coffee, do some shopping, or take someone for a drink. Luckily, Local Guides in London have been creating some very helpful lists to show tourists and locals where to do all of those things and more.
