Split the General Discussion forum

The "General Discussion" forum has become the catch-all of discussions. As a result it is hard to find any thread or any topic unless one checks the forum frequently throughout the day.

My idea is to create a few new forums, including "Off Topic", "Perks" and others, that would serve as more focused forums for the common discussion topics. Likewise the moderators should not only reply to posts, but move the posts into more appropriate categories - with "Off Topic" being anything other than discussion of Maps/Local Guides and affiliated products.

Connect Moderator @Flash has posted comments stating that he has moved a discussion to a more appropriate forum.

Am I wrong to assume that every other Connect Moderator has this same ability?
