I like many functions in Connect, I like the text editor for example, but I rarely participate in discussions. I tried but I got lost in the threads, sometimes they are really long. I would suggest a different structure easier to read and to follow.
Even if we don't know exactly how you suggest to make Connect easier to read, @AntonellaGr, we are working in something like this, trying to make Connect more visually applealing and easier to find interesting topics.
However, the lenght of threads is not something we can do much about, as if it's popular, other Local Guides will jump and reply, but that's a good sign 🙂

Yes..Very difficult to follow. Lots of scattered threads on the main page, classification categories in the internal threads not enough. @LuisRG length of the thread is ok for me.
I have been a bit busy lately but here I am with my “How”. First of all, for me, the most difficult part is “general discussion”. I would divide it into two different subsections:
A section “content focused” with text of minimum 250 words and photos. I need an example from another social: Linkedin Pulse (old version, not the one in the homepage feed) Kudos in this section are welcomed
A section “social based” for chatting. No kudos in this section
Thank you for sharing your idea, now from the redesign of the new Connect you can easily access any topics you are interested in and as we know there is no more General Discussion section.
