Zermatt is a mountain resort in Southern Switzerland famous for tourism , skiing ,climbing and hiking. The town is at an elevation of 1600m and lies between the Matterhorn Peak.
The main town Bahnhofstrasse is lined with hotels, restaurants and shops. Zermatt is a car free zone so you will find horse carriage and battery operated car only. Do not forget to visit the Glacier Palace.
