Η πιο ξακουστή περιοχή του νησιού είναι η Μπόχαλη, η οποία βρίσκεται στο πιο ψηλό σημείο της πόλεως της Ζακύνθου και απέχει μόλις 2 χμ από αυτήν. Από εκεί η θέα είναι μαγευτική καθώς μπορούμε να θαυμάσουμε από ψηλά όχι μόνο την πόλη αλλά και το απέραντο γαλάζιο του Ιονίου που εκτείνεται μπροστά σου, το λιμάνι, το Αργάσι και τον κόλπο του Λαγανά.
Η Ζάκυνθος, γνωστή διεθνώς και με το όνομα “Τζάντε”, ή Φιόρο του Λεβάντε κατά τους Βενετσιάνους, είναι ένα από τα νησιά των Επτανήσων. Είναι το ενδέκατο σε έκταση ελληνικό νησί και το τρίτο και δεύτερο σε πληθυσμό νησί των Ιονίων νήσων. Η έκτασή της είναι 406 τ. χλμ και ο πληθυσμός ανέρχεται στους 40.758 κατοίκους.

Thanks for sharing these stunning photos! Zakynthos has been on my list since forever and I hope I get to go there soon. How did you take the aerial photos? Did you use a drone?
Do you live near the island or you visited as well? I’d love to hear more about your travel experience there. Can you tell me did you go by boat or plane, what did you see, what you liked most?

Zakynthos is a wonderful island I like and my grandmother is from there.
Yes I live across from the island at Kyllini Castle Peloponnese there is my home for the summer vacation.
There I always go by the ferry boat all the points of Zakynthos are wonderful especially the goddess from the boxali point.

@Alexios_Greece That is amazing! I’m planning to do a trip next year hopefully. I’ve been to many places in Greece, but I’ve still to visit the islands! I guess the most famous thing in Zakynthos that I know is the ship. Is there other place I must visit? It’s always better to hear from the locals.
