Hello friends, I want to report there might be a little error on Google Maps today. If I am going to add a review somewhere, it appears that your google account is missing your name. Though the name of my google account is still listed on the profile. Is there someone who can help explain this?

Have you considered the standard set of actions -
Logoff & log once again.
Clear app cache & stored data.
Check for updates.
Uninstall and reinstall the app.
Further, have you tried creating a review on some other device? Have you faced a similar problem there also?

Normally it is advised to do what @C_T has mentioned to see if it can be solved, and if not then your issue will be escalated. Please confirm if you have tried and the issue is still there or solved.

this is normally a synchronization issue.
Please try the follow:
- Open Setting on your phone and then click on Apps
- Select Maps > uncheck all permissions => Go to storage > Clear Data
- Then select Google Play Service > uncheck all permissions => Go to storage > manage storage > clear all data
- Please reboot your phone
- Then access Setting once more > Apps
- Select Maps > check all permissions
- Select Google Play service > check all permissions
As well you may give a try as Accounts > Google > name of your account and tap a synchronize that account.
