Visit the Yeruham Reservoir!
It is a Manmade Reservoir collecting flood waters from the whole area.
It was built in the early 1950s with a few other reservoirs in Israel and it still stands.
For a few years the water was very bad but in the past years it is treated and is now much better though still not for swimming or bathing.
The place is also called the Yeruham Park, Yeruham Dam or the Birdwatching park.
There are many birds to spot and a lot of places to rest and enjoy a nice Pick nick.
You can also rent a bicycle or bring your own and enjoy the bike trails around the park.
It is a big park but there is not too much to see so don’t try and spend the whole day there.
It will be perfect for a few hours or for Lunch.
