Xiao long bao is often considered as a sort of dumpling filled with broth. Eating a xiao long bao means drinking the soup inside and then eating the “dumpling”. Xiao long bao can be made in various ways. The most popular xiao long bao is filled with pork meat. These xiao long bao are filled with sweet corn & mushrooms. They are handmade and served within the traditional bamboo steamer.

@KlaudiyaG yeah, from the same place. This restaurant is famous in Milan for their handmade dumplings. It is mainly specialized in various kinds of Chinese noodles, dumplings and “bao” and they hand-make most of them.

@KlaudiyaG when you enter the restaurant you will see the kitchen with windows, like in many similar restaurants you can find in China: there are stacks of steamers and they prepare them in stocks, so that when you order them, they arrive almost immediately. I think they start since the morning making them.
