Wudil is an ancient town situated in southern part of Kano and it is widely known for it weekly cattle market. This market is arguably the biggest cattle market in northern Nigeria. Traders also sells ram, goats and domestic fowls in the market. The market have other sections for the sales of variety of local items and commodities, like leader sandals, cereals, roasted meat (suya) , beef, spices, etc.
