Wrong place name

The Location is not shown correctly. This place is far away from where it is actually being shown on the Google Maps. Also misguides the People as there is no living thing and no proper way to reach there.

People have to cross private property which is not good.

The Name Jhanjraula and Jhanjrola both are wrong though translation is correct, correct name in English is Jhanjhrola.

Also the location of the name should be as per the correct circle marked as per below image.

If the information about a place in Google Maps is inaccurate, I would like to recommend you to suggest an edit on Google Maps. For more information about how to do this take a look at this article : Suggest edits to a place or flag it for removal

We review your edits, so your changes might take some time to be updated on the map. Google may email you about the status of your edits and may forward you questions from other people who review your edits.

Not able to find the Suggest Edit Link or button.

Hi @Shashikant459 ,

Please follow the next steps:

  1. On your computer, open Google Maps and make sure you’re signed in.
  2. Search for a place or click it on the map.
  3. On the left, scroll down and select Suggest an edit. If you’re using Maps in Lite mode, you can’t suggest edits.
  4. Follow the instructions.
  5. Click Submit.

By the way when responding to others make sure to tag them (by writing @ before their names) in a post so they can receive notifications that you are communicating with them.

One more thing I would like to suggest you when you have some questions you can check the Google Maps & Earth Help Forum. There you will find very useful information.

Even i noticed this issue and sent feedback through app many a times…I had added this issue in IDEA EXCHANGE which was moved to HELPDESK where discussions are going on.

It is not possible to move the name of villages or cities on maps via suggest an edit section. It can be done by the google team. I recommend you to use Send Feedback option for the same.
