Wrong address pointer and streetview: understanding the problem, total delay to correct Maps.

Am having this issue with a place am trying to Map, everytime I even get a clear sky … the location after mapping is in a different place. HELP

Hello @Priesty I suggest you update the location on the map in the Place Details section of the place itself:-

  1. Tap on ‘suggest an edit’

  2. Tap on the first option, ‘Change name or other details’

  3. Under the ‘location’ tab, tap on the area that says, ‘Update location on map’

  4. Move the red balloon to the exact location and tap on ‘Done’.

The map location should now reset to the spot as marked.

  1. Check that the postal code details for the place are correct as this can be one of the reasons a red balloon pointer isn’t pointing to the exact location on the map.

You can also send feedback to Google under the tab ‘Send feedback’ in the Maps app which you can find 10 tabs down after the tab ‘Your contributions’.
