Happy world’s Book day to all my friends on connect. I’m making this post because of this occasion. This year the tagline of the World’s book day is “Read your way” this theme emphasises on the importance of cultivating a passion for reading. In February of this year the government of India organised the World’s book fair in Hall number 1 to 5 in Pragati Maidan, Delhi.The price of the ticket is just ₹20 for an adult and ₹10 for childern.

you can easily see that there was a huge crowd of people to see this fair. It is an international book fair so many publications from outside the India also came here.
Caption-2 Interaction with authors of Prabhat Prakashan.
Prabhat Prakashan is one of the famous hindi books publisher in the country in almost every stream for more that past 50 years. You can interact with them live and ask your questions.they also signed books here.
Caption -3 Interview for newly launched books.
Here many new authors are interviewed by some news channels on their newly launched books and novels. It was really a new thing for me to interact and saw them right in front of me.

His newly launched book " The hidden Hindu part -3 " achieve a great milestone ( over a lakh of copies sold ). He is very famous author in India , He is interviewed by many famous YouTube channels recently.

Our group purchased these four books as we find a good deal here. There was a larger variety of books so I assure to not buy books impulsively.

Many of us are aware of these cartoon comics even some 90’s born are also aware of them. Lol if I had unlimited budget I’ll definitely gonna buy all of these books.

Manga comics are very popular in India so there was a huge variety of manga are available here including parasyte, Tokyo revengers , attack on Titan, death note , one piece , Naruto, monster, Pokemon, dragon ballz, jujutsu kaisen and demon slayer.

There are many famous publisher present in this fair including Arya publications, oswal books, penguin publisher, crossword bookstores and many more.
Caption -9 Fun activities and quizes.
At this stall many fun activities and quizes was held by ministry of education and I won one of them and got a temperature controlled water bottle.

At this stall many bestseller Türkiye origin books are framed.for public view.
Caption -11 Spanish stall
There was a huge crowd here because of there active participation quizes. Here you have given 2 cards red and green and you have to guess the sentence which is shown on the screen. If you know the answer then you have to show the green card and if you don’t then you have to show the red card. For every correct answer your name is credited by 1 point ( which you can use to buy books or tote bags ).
Caption- 12 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Among the invitees Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had beed invited as the guest of honour in this book fair because of the visit of the Saudi’s prince in India. These delegates shows the Saudi litrature, language, culture and legacy. Many more country’s publications are also participated here like japan , Iran and Italy but their stalls are not opened on that day.

They perform one of their cultural dance with a music instrument named “mirwas”.

This is very unique strategy of marketing as they playing guitar for getting crowd at their book launch although the music is good.

In the opposite of the hall in Pragati maidan you can see this beautiful building named Bharat Mandapam.
Fact: One of the meetings of G20 summit 2023 in India was held in this place.
