Thank you very much, my dear @Rahul001 for sharing this beautiful photo.
Yes, Rose-ringed Parakeets are the most common parakeet… What we call as തത്ത!
Highly appropriate your sincere companionship.
Best wishes…
Happy to hear about World Parrot Day, @TravellerG sir! Never knew about that actually.
As you know, I had posted about my visit to Surya Shibir Resort earlier, where they have a mini bird aviary. I was lucky enough to see many species of the parrots there.
It was such a pleasure to be among them. Not much we knew about the nature-park photography skills, but we certainly will try and follow as you have mentioned.
Thanks.
Cheers!
Oh! What a collection.
Beautifully captured scenes bubbling with life. You can’t take away your eyes from their eyes.
All pro quality shots and informative article.
Legend says that parrots could recite vedas in the house of Sri Mandana Misra and Devi Saradhamba in Mahishmati (said to be in Bihar) Who engaged Sri Adi Sankara in debates.
Your kind and touching response is more than a photo for friends like me, my dear @Annaelisa
Kindly don’t worry about your collection of parrot photos… You may kindly used any of my photos in future.
Thank you very much for your valuable companionship.
I haven’t tried that yet @TravellerG

@TravellerG que gran post y grandes tomas de las aves!
@TravellerG great awareness on wildlife birds, parrot day. A best pet for a talkative partner. I must pledge to save and preserve this Bird for future vegetation.
@TravellerG The species that you have posted are not local to India and am still not an expert in that level
I will have to go by the names that you have already written.
In regard with the head color, that is one of the most common distinguisher among parakeets in India.
Rose-ringed, plum headed, slaty headed, Alexandrine and so on … Their distribution also changes widely based on their eating habits.
Fantastic photos @TravellerG . I loved the way you explained the difference between Parrot and parakeet.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi @TravellerG , I like parrot, too! Wish to pet a parrot, but the price is too expensive
I love “White cockatoo” from your Photo #6 the most! The white parrot is cute with his dare hanging pose.
Let me share you some photos of parrot that I met last year in an indoor pet festival. The photos aren’t as good and aesthetic as yours, but I do love to share with you
Very happy that you liked the photos of parrots and parakeets; your feedback is important to me - thank you very much dear friend, @Maximilianozalazar .

Yes, you are right, my dear friend @CoolKriss …they are not of Indian origin. These birds were photographed in a Nature Park in Surat - of course, they also had Indian species.
I have read that keeping endangered Alexandrine species is illegal.
Thank you very much for your valuable companionship.
Regards, my dear friend
Very happy to note that you have liked they post, my dear friend @Kumaarsantosh .
Thank you very much for your pleasant compliment - there are many differences between parrots and parakeets… but, in general what we need is simple definition to identify the birds - thank you very much for your feedback.
Warm regards, dear
