Continuing our Women & Allied Series, today we’re excited to introduce Nishat, a passionate Level 9 Local Guide from India.
Nishat loves sharing her experiences on Maps and has been making an impact by contributing to Google Maps and sharing her experiences in meaningful ways. Let’s get to know her! Here is a candid Rendezvous with @nish_25 !
Can you tell us a little about yourself and your journey as a Local Guide?
[Nishat]: I am really lucky to start my journey being a local guide from the early times. I started contributing from 2016 and till now i have reached level 9. Moving to level 10 is going to take some more time as it needs more time.
What inspires you to be a Local Guide?
[Nishat]: Guiding people to show way to a particular destination inspires me. Earlier i used to guide people to reach a particular place when someone used to ask me later on guiding people through out the world is insane while sitting in the comfort of your house.
What’s your favorite feature of Google Maps?
[Nishat]: Best feature of google maps is Live View as it shows how particular a place looks even before actually travelling over there.
What message would you give to other Women Local Guides or anyone considering joining our Local Guides program ?
[Nishat]: Lets meet and create awareness about this particular tool and add more contributions to google maps.
