The best weather to be in Delhi - which is winters - is just round the corner. In fact the delayed monsoon
this year (it’s been raining everyday here in September) has resulted in giving one that misty feel a bit
too early. The rains have washed the dust off the trees and these look forest-fresh adding to the charm
of Delhi.
This is one city that lives through the extreme summer months longing for the four-months of
winters. It is in these four months that the cultural scene flares up with Theatre Festivals, Music Concerts
(some of these in the open), Exhibitions, Art Fairs, City Walks, Book Launches and so on. Even the most
lethargic citizen of Delhi moves out for those winter afternoon picnics in the numerous parks in the city.
And for tourists, it is the season to sample every bit of the city - right from food to old city walks to the
shopping.
