Why you are not accepting my edits?

I’m level 7 local guide, I had been contributing to Google maps from 4 years, but you guys not accepting my edits? Even though I checked then physically and adding those elements to maps why you are not accepting my edits?

If you won’t accept edits why should I continue my contributions?

Do you think if you do so can anybody get interest for further contributions?

I don’t know what you people thinking of volunteer local guides like us.

These are my edits which are not accepted by you guys ! It's is very disgusting you know. It is better to remove edit option to us then?, I think that would be great, without local guides Google maps is nothing even though you are Adding places and roads by many third party vendors, they charge you money but we care for each and every thing to be noted on maps. We are spending our valuable time for your maps' improvement even you people are making money by using efforts also. Mind it and think of it.

Maybe Google needs more information to verify your edits.

I’m local guides level 9. And Google sometimes not accepted my edits. But I’m still willing to contribute to Google Maps.

By doing this, we could help a lot of people Google Maps’ user out there.

Just take it easy and keep contributing… :))

But they should also give some preference to what we added or else they should verify us by any means of communication about our edits, even they are not giving any perks still we are putting our efforts for their improvement. Literally it benefits only for Google then helpful for people, if people don’t use Google maps then they might have to shutdown their servers and simply sit and watch Any cartoon channels outside :thinking:.

Respect and priority are the major concerns of human beings . They are trying to mostly rely on machines rather people .

@Kiranbeethoju adding of roads at times take longer to reflect after due verification so like will advise you be patient. Don’t be discouraged in contributing to Google Maps as Other local guides have same challenge as yours. Personally, I had the same problem, the roads I added for over a month now is still pending yet I am still contributing to Google Maps .

Moreover Google cannot pay you. Local guides connect is a voluntary service. Like I always say the greatest payment or reward you can get is the joy you derive seeing your contributions on Google Maps is helping a lot people to explore the world around them.

However, Google has a way of saying thank you by awarding perks to well deserving Local guides. And to earn it you must consistently contribute to Google Maps over a period of time. ConnectLive invitation is one of the perks that Google give Local guides. Google can also give discount or subsidize the hotel accommodation bills for Local guides. It is another way Google say thank you.

Keep on contributing.

I am just wasting my time in contributing to this useless Google maps (useless to me from now onwards) .

You to stop contributing if you feel like your self esteem is degraded.

I don’t wanna waste my time on this bloody google maps app anymore.

May be you people have time but I don’t have that much time in my precious little life, I don’t wanna spend my time to improve this useless and worthless app, when it is not useful to me why should I improve it !?

I already done and reached level 7 but they are not treating me well, contributors like me are wasting their precious time in their lives by sticking up with Google maps app to add more places and info but these guys not at all caring our edits and info. Why should we care about Google maps updation then?

They do map updates with third party vendors they do edits by taking many bucks but we are working with emotion called local guide , but it is a trap to work for them.
