Have you ever thought how will your friend network look like? If not, here is your chance to do so after reading my article. After reading the article go and check your Google Maps and try to relate the locations of friends in your network and inspire them to be a Google Local Guide so that we grow as a whole discovering new places. I truly believe that this is the best way that you can map your network with Google Maps.
I have a big network of people expanding the boundaries of Sri Lanka. Whenever possible I try to connect with them and that’s how we start searching for places to eat, escape and go on trips. So, thanks to Google Maps we always find places to hang around. Thanks to Google Local Guides we always choose the best place to hang around from the places that Google Maps shows with the reviews supported by Google Local Guides all around.
I love to take pictures of food that we eat and amend them to the Google reviews so that somebody else who is connecting dots on Google Maps to connect with their network make a benefit out of that as I always do. Sometimes not only food, I don’t forget to make captures of important places and the moments around them so that Google Maps might use them to provide a better experience to awesome people like us.
Best food, best drink, best restaurant, best moment of a place will make a huge impact on the community as a single source of truth. I always write about my true feelings towards the places in my reviews and I’m really surprised that sometimes the places reply to the negative reviews saying that they will improve their quality. So, then I get a humble feeling that I tried to make a difference in the community serving them better making another person’s experience in a place on Google Maps better than my experience.
Simply Google Maps map our network to a greater cause and the Google Local Guides around us work as the change agents who connect dots between the network and Maps. The best part I like about sharing on Google Maps is that self-satisfaction I gain through that seeing people loving my reviews and seeing somebody being benefited through the reviews. Words cannot explain the feeling how hyper you get when somebody replies to reviews.
