Why Starbucks in Italy is special!

I have recently talked about the big Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan! Like all Reserve Roasteries it is special and here you can even have an Italian breakfast like if it was a traditional Italian bar! But in Italy not only the Reserve Roastery is special: even the classic Starbucks coffee shops are different!

ONLY MILAN!

Actually Starbucks is only in Milan: not only the Reserve Roastery but also the classic coffee shops. Italy is very conservative, despite this, Milan is surely the most international city (I would say: maybe the only city in Italy which is really international) and open to new things. That’s why Starbucks decided to start its adventure in Italy from Milan! Here are the characteristics of Starbucks classic coffee shops in Italy!

  • WARM COLORS

  • HALF ITALIAN, HALF AMERICAN

Starbucks in Italy is half an American coffee shop and half a traditional Italian bar. This means you don’t only drink Frappuccino and eat Salted Caramel Cake: you can also drink authentic Italian espresso and eat “cornetto” and do a traditional Italian breakfast, or even mix the things. It’s really a full Italian-American fusion!

Hi@Alessio_Ganci

Thank you for adding those to my knowledge. I had been there for a short while, but could not taste it.

Best.

Oh, I didn’t know this.

in fact Personally the way how coffee is made in Italy is not the way I prefer.

i order coffee americano with one espresso inside and additional hot water… Only the coffee after the meal is fine.

so thank you for letting me know there is maybe a option @user_not_found

Hello @TorM

Starbucks is not even the only place in Milan to offer American coffee drinks (and also Italian coffee drinks). In Milan there are also many local chains providing American coffee like Arnold Coffee and 12oz.
