Hey @Mohan_Singh ,
It happens to me too, but I think the points that have been reduced will be given back to you again. I always get the points back but it takes some time especially in the meanwhile due to Covid19.
But there’s another possibility, the contributions that you have got the points from might violate google maps policies, so, read the policies and you’ll find out.

There was a long time when I got master in a badge but. It covert into exper and number of answers are also reduced,@AhmadJA99

Yes dude, that happens too, but if your contributions don’t violate the policies, you’ll get them back and your master badge as well.

There are reasons reducing points if incase duplicate pictures or points earned by reviews or places got deleted.
I have faced similar issues earlier and got replies similar. At the end of the day, Do your good work as a local guide. Things will come back to you in good way. Keep it up your good Work. All the Best

It happened to me once when the number of the photos I posted was reduced from 901 to 853 which makes it longer to reach the next level in the badge. But after a couple of days I got the correct number back.

And ensure that you have selected “Keeping activity until you delete it manually”.
If not, the answers to the questions will get deleted at a periodic interval and you will continue to lose the points.
Further, the damage which was done because of any undesirable setting can not be recovered.

It seems that your post was posted several times, you can ask a moderator to merge them, by tagging one of them, you can find who they are on this post.
Also, when you have a question like this one about Google Maps or Connect, it may be helpful to write it under “Help desk” section rather than “Local Stories”, a moderator can help you with this as well.
Answering your question about the points, you can review Local Guides rules, Local Guides community policy and Maps User Contributed Content Policy. When you have a question about a specific topic, sometimes other Local Guides have had the same question so you can look it up and find answers for your question, in this case I found this post about the same topic, and @ErmesT (a Connect Moderator) kindly answered the question (information which I used to answer yours) and he can help you if you need further help.

Points can decrease for several reasons:
- Photos and reviews that violate our Local Guides program rules, Local Guides community policy, and Maps user contributed content policy, will be made private. This includes duplicate photos of course.
- Your setting on MyActivity , as indicate by @C_T , can reduce the amount of answer. Please make sure that your settings are for Keeping activity until you delete manually, if you want to maintain the points related to the answer
