Why It Wasn’t My Intention

My initial intention of getting into uploading photos in google maps was self-serving. First of all, I treated it as a way of saving my photos online. The other reason was to simply give in the urge to contribute to that ‘add photos’ section. I simply couldn’t resist it. You could also say curiosity made me feel if me adding photos could make an impact. Before I know it, I started receiving emails from Google saying certain photos reached an amount of views.

The email baffled me at first. Maybe it was a way of Google to make me feel good. A sort of catfish way of me somehow posting more photos. It worked though. It encouraged me to try and take more and upload more photos of the different places I went to. The emails kept coming as the views kept growing. I was triggered to shoot more quality type photos now that there seem to he a larger audience at play. It was just weird because even if I don’t know who views my photos, it didn’t really matter as long as my perspective of the place was posted and now viewed apparently.
