Why I start posting photos from haitian food???

Haitian food is among the best in the world, because you find african, european, indian and arab in it. For example the Keebee in Middle East is one of the favorite in Haiti … with a little haitian carribean creole hot tast. My wife is a cuisine chef and get a cuisine and pastry school, where I tasted each week various food from all over the world, specially our rich haitian cuisine.

I also visited several restaurants in Carrefour where I’m living, in Port-au-Prince area and in regions in Haiti, like Jacmel where I recently visited. From more than one year I started to share the photos of the dishes I ordered in each restaurant I visit. Some of these restaurants weren’t not on Google Maps. After my visit there, I added them on Google Maps and share some photos.

I like this experience, because not only I made a “free advertising” for these restaurants, but also I share to the world the haitian cuisine which is one of the best in the world.

Haitian food is still a mystery to me @JonasLaurince , I have never had the chance to try it. It sounds really interesting with aspects of some of my favorite cuisines and I’m very curious to try it now after reading your post.

Your second photo really caught my attention, it looks delicious. Could you tell us a bit more about what this dish is all about?

It looks like som sort of filling baked in dough but I would rather not try to guess.
