I love to share my experiences on google maps because it seems like a very worth while thing to do, having good reviews and advise on such a freely available and heavily embedded medium helps everyone from kids doing research for projects, families trying to find the perfect playground, play center or childcare, couples going out on a date and travelers in a new city. I like to add meaningful photos and seeing how many people have viewed them, and it’s so interesting which photos people are interested in, usually it’s not the photos you expect, it’s the photo that clearly shows the front of the building or the front reception or that the recycling center has a large assortment of golf clubs and skis. It just reminds you that real people are looking at the photos because they are trying to make decisions or they’re nervous about getting to a medical appointment or just want some cheap ski’s.
I also love finding details that are wrong or businesses that have moved, it feels very empowering to be able to update business details and even better when you can fix navigation issues by changing the business location
