Why I love the fountains of Kansas City

Water is one of my favorite things about nature. Years ago, when I moved to Kansas City, MO, I found out that the nickname for the city is, The City of Fountains. This really excited me and it started up my love of trying to find all of the fountains in Kansas City. Whether the fountain is in Missouri or Kansas, I’ve loved the ones that I’ve found so far.

One of my favorite fountains that I’ve visited can be found in the Zona Rosa Town Center of Kansas City, MO. It is a shopping area with many stores. Below is a video of the fountain that I found and it’s called the Frog Fountain.

The Frog Fountain is just one of the many fountains to see in the Zona Rosa Town Center. Also in the Zona Rosa Town Center are the following fountains:

  • Zona Rosa Pop Fountain
  • Zona Rosa Clock Tower Fountain
  • Children’s Park Fountain
  • Zona Rosa Entrance Wall Fountain

So if you plan to visit Kansas City at any time in the future, make sure to include plans to visit Zona Rosa’s many fountains along with the other areas where you can find fountains. Visit the Kansas City fountains website to learn more about other fountains in the Kansas City area.
