My name is Linh. I was born in Vietnam and I am proud of being a Vietnamese girl. Vietnam is nowadays renowned all over the world for its natural beauty. However, sadly, there are still foreigners who think of Vietnam as a jungle that is associated with several wars. To change that perception, I keep posting photos of Vietnam’s attractions on Google Maps because I believe that photos would attract people’s attention and would make a good impression on them. Thanks to Google Maps, I can share my photos and my thoughts with other travellers around the world and learned from their travel experiences as well. Photos and reviews are extremely helpful for people to have an image of the places before visiting. Especially, for people who like travelling on a motorbike like me, my photos would help them to decide which roads will be easy to go by motorbikes and places to go for sightseeing.
I enjoy travelling around Vietnam on a motorbike and taking photos of our stunning landscape. I want to tell the world that Vietnam has beaches, mountains, forests and big cities. I am very glad that one of my first photos posted on Google Maps in November 2017, a photo of Gem Valley coffee in San Sả Hồ, Sa Pa, Lao Cai, has attracted a number of views (159,891 views). This photo was taken after the rain, at a random coffee shop that I chose to take a rest to stay away from the rain. Now, it has been almost 3 years, but I still remember clearly the trip I had at that time. In November 2017, I flew to Hanoi with my sister, and our motorbike was transported by a train from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. Then, we rode our motorbike around north-west Vietnam, from Hanoi to Ha Giang and Lao Cai provinces. Spending most of the trip on the motorbike was a great opportunity for me to escape from my daily life and to enjoy the mountain sceneries which really took my breath away. I would strongly suggest international friends to at least one time try to have a motorbike tour in Vietnam as the feeling would be worth trying and will never be forgettable. Don’t worry about getting lost when riding a motorbike. Google Maps now has the function to find the best route for two-wheelers.

Thank you @ErmesT for helping to release my post. I did not know that editing it 2 times after publishing it would lead to the rejection. Next time, I will reread and write carefully before hitting the ‘publish’ button.
