Hi everyone, I am relatively new to local guides and I just wanted to share why I love food reviews and food photography.
As a home cook, I am always looking for new challenges in the kitchen to make for my friends and family. How I come up with these ideas is through my travels. I have been able to travel in Canada, the USA and even Europe. The hardest part about this is not having a kitchen while I am on the road, but it’s also the best part. I always try my best to hit up unique local diners (rather than chains) to see what’s cooking. Google reviews and guides have been a tremendous help in finding these places. Of course, I always try my best to leave a review for others as well.
Since I get to experience all these new restaurants and types of food, I take these ideas back home and use it in my own cooking. Before joining Google as a local guide, I was a local guide for my friends, family and co-workers as the go to guy for where to eat and where to find the best coffee. My experiences are shared on Instagram and I am always hoping someone out there is able to take something away from my posts and reviews.
In the end, food brings everyone together and tells a story. As a final note in post, i thought I’d share some of my favorite dishes, by yours truly. thanks for tuning in!
