As a connoisseur of good food, I believe the next best thing to eating good food, is talking about it. Hence why i’m passionate about sharing my dining experiences by taking pictures of where I eat, what I eat and what I drink then upload them to Google Maps.
I have a taste for good food especially fine dining and I am always (DTE) Down to Eat so once a new restaurant pops up, I’m always excited to check it out as soon as possible. I love to discover new restaurants and I know how to find the best restaurants in any city I visit. It’s always fun to eat at the restaurant everyone’s buzzing about because it gives me the opportunity to explore more dinning options.
Based on my passion for sharing beautiful photos of my dining experiences I was invited to the Nacho festival by Hard Rock Cafe in Lagos, Nigeria to come have a taste of their menu along side other food enthusiasts and food bloggers. How cool is that? Here are some photos below from the event.
Also, friends often call to ask for dining options like the best places to eat in Lagos. My first question is always, what do you have a taste for? And secondly, what’s your budget? And then I create a list of casual dining or fine dining restaurants based on their budgets. I tell them It’s not a business, it’s a Lifestyle choice!
This lifestyle choice inspired my custom hashtag #LagosLivingLagosLoving. The aim is to let people know all over the world that Lagos is an exciting and a fantastic place to live, work and play. Google Maps has given me the opportunity to share all these wonderful dining experiences with a wider audience. As a local guide I believe my reviews/feedback gives business owners extra motivation to make it even better as well as reaping the benefits of the customers visiting them and bringing revenue to the local economy. I’m also proud and happy to help people get better service and quality food. It gives me so much joy to know someone somewhere could visit a place I reviewed based on my recommendation. I’m glad to be part of a community that inspires people to make informed decisions in their daily lives. Thank you Google for giving me the opportunity to give back to my city.
