Who could have transferred a tour that I published?

A tour that I published using the Desktop Editor in 2015 has been transferred to the business owner (I did not perform the transfer) and now the spheres are not connected. How did this get transferred without my knowledge? When did this happen, and will the connections be repaired?

Thanks,

@JDS360 Did you change your username or profile since 2015 since 4 are under owner and the total in 360 is 5. All 4 show your name on them and one is Google street view so you should have control over them. There was a change a while back in the program and migrations.

Hi David, thanks for your response.

No, I have not made any changes to my account.

I have been checking through other tours that I’ve published over the past five years, and have not found another that has been transferred without my knowledge.

I am very curious as to how this could have happened.

Yes, I shot four spheres for that tour. The fifth one is a Google Street View image, but in the app, I see that it is showing up in my profile. That’s another weird thing!

PS - I did attempt to make a minor change and republish the tour, but since it was transferred, I do not have publishing rights.

@JDS360 sounds like you need to wait and see if Yohanad gets a chance to look at it.

Hello, @JDS360 !

All virtual tours published with the then Street View editor were migrated to a new platform, the same as SV app; this means that the 360 photos made up to September 2015 were automatically transferred by Google to the business owner (as that period the Business View program was still on).

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks!

Hi Yohanad ,

Thanks for your response!

Just one other question/request: will you please reconnect the spheres?

Jake

Only the current owner of the photos can edit them, @JDS360 , including the connections. If they want to have a step by step on how to do it, the Maps Help Center could help.
