Hello @Christina-NYC ,

Thank you for your great yearly summary. I wish my city will be in the list next year. Local guides are very dedicated all over the world, which makes the map helpful and more informative than ever. I am glad that, I am also a Local Guide, though my contributions are minor. I believe that, a small contribution in Google Map can impact in a large scale.

Thanks to all local guides for their willing mind.

@Christina-NYC,

Thanks for sharing such beautiful photos. I believe every photo has a story to tell.

I would like to share a photo of “The Taj Mahal” in Agra, a small city but famous place all over the world. The monument is a symbol of love created by Shah Jahan for his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. I spent about 2 hours and clicked few memorable photos which I would like to share with you all.

I love the shot taken through the archway. I’ve seen a number of pictures of The Taj Mahal, but they’ve always been similar to the other photo that appears to be from outside. Thanks for the unique angle and a great picture.

@geothearch ,

Thanks for your kind words. I agree with you that most of the pictures of Taj Mahal are clicked from the front and look similar.

I wanted to click it from a different angle and believe me it was difficult to accommodate such a huge and marvellous monument in one shot.

Thanks again!!!:grinning:
