This is the photo of a sunrise at Rara Lake, Mugu, Nepal. I travelled from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj in a night bus in a 12 hour ride and took an hour flight to Jumla. From 5 am the next morning I walked up and down the hills and through the green forests of Jumla, we spent the night on small village by the river. The next day was a walk through the remote village of Mugu to the pastures with wild horses for 6 hours to reach the great lake of Rara. It was an excruciating 3 days of journey. We woke up early, it was still dark. We set up our camera gears and made sure everything was correct. We were waiting for the sunrise. As the colors of the sky slowly started to change from blue to red, I was completely baffled by the majestic view and completely lost in the moment. I forgot what I was there for. There was not a single word spoken. The restlessness and tiredness for the walk was all forgotten. I was completely healed from everything. It was one of the most fascinating view I have ever in my life.
