When you can't find Suggest an edit

Hi

Sometimes I can’t find the button or link to Suggest an edit to a business.

When you cant find this

or this

I now have 2 workarounds you can try.

In this example I wanted to fix the naming of this restaurant. They added “Restaurant Copenhagen” in the business name. As you probably know it is not allowed to add locate and category information in the place name.

Solution 1:

If the link or button is missing you can check the top horizontal menu that looks like this:

Just swipe to the right where you will find this alternative Edit button as seen below.

It takes you to the usual Suggest an edit page.

Solution 2

If for some reason you have opened the business from a sponsored/paid listing like shown here on Android:

there is no Suggest an edit link or button available. Notice text Sponsored: marked in green.

Then you need to search again and scroll down to find the same place without the text Sponsored:

From there you can suggest your edit.

As you can see this edit is not easy to get approved. Please give it a try, if you don’t mind.

The problem is in the Danish name field.

Sometimes that fearute is indeed well-hidden @MortenCopenhagen . It almost looks like they want to prevent us from making certain edits But of course we always find ways in the end

In some case, I have also been able to find it by scrolling all the way to the right, to the About tab (and in some cases even there only when clicking the Show All option).
